Mr Georgios Kandarakis
Georgios Kandarakis graduated from Ioannina Medical school in Greece in 2003. Georgios completed his orthopaedic training in KAT hospital in Athens in 2014. Following the completion of his training he worked as an independent orthopaedic surgeon in Greece before moving to the UK in 2017. Georgios has been working in the Royal Hospital for Children consecutively since 2020.
During his training Georgios has completed additional training in microsurgery and worked in both the Scoliosis and Spinal Injury services in Athens.
My current special interest is limb reconstruction surgery and I'm currently working towards building up that skillset. I have been very welcomed in both the hospital and the city of Glasgow and I'm very keen to work closely with my colleagues and families on finding appropriate and acceptable solutions to my young patients' issues.
