Children attend our department for a number of reasons. They may be seen in the outpatient clinics or admitted to one of our wards
Elective Clinics
This is a clinic where children are reviewed by a named consultant/assocaite specialist.
Fracture Clinic
If your child has suffered a fractured bone or an emergecy admission to hospital this is where they will be followed up.
Plaster Room Clinic
This is a specialist clinic run from the plaster room. Usually children are seen here if they require casting performed.
Orthopaedic Ward 3C
Ward 3C is our inpatient ward. The staff in ward 3C look after both emegerncy admissions as well as planned admissions for surgery.
Day Surgery/23 Hour Ward
Ward 1A and ward 1B look after patients who are anticipated to have a short hospital admission. This may be for a planned procedure or as an emergency.
