Speciality Registrars and Fellows in Orthopaedic Surgery
During your visit you may meet either our Specialty Registrars in Orthopaedics, or our Orthopaedic Fellows.
Specialty Registrars
There are 4 orthopaedic registrars at any point working in our hospital. They are fully qualified doctors who are working toward becoming Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons. Working for 6 months at the Children’s Hospital is a mandatory part of that training programme..
Fellows
Surgical Fellows are fully qualified doctors who are about to, or have recently completed their specialist training in orthopaedics. In general, an Orthopaedic Fellow will work with us for a year to get more experience in paediatric orthopaedic surgeons
